The Moon

The moon shines, through the clouds
The clouds frame, the reflection bright
from the sun whereabouts?
White light, to the Earth
showing its still there. it does not have
power of light, the assume solar light.
But it has another role.
Strength lies in gravity, setting the waters
beneath it lie. Oceans vast tides controlled.
